Blockages on Java-Bali, Strict Sanctions Applied

In point 10, it is stipulated that governors, regents and mayors who do not follow the instructions will be subject to administrative sanctions of written warnings twice in a row up to temporary dismissal. Sanctions are regulated in Article 68 Paragraph (1) and Paragraph (2) of Law No. 23/2014 concerning Regional Administration.

"When a state of emergency is declared, all regions will comply," said the Association of Indonesian Regency Administrations head of Administration and Apparatus Empowerment, Nikson Nababan, who is also the Regent of North Tapanuli, yesterday.
