The drums of war against the disease, which at that time had not yet been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), were beaten by the Supreme Commander of Indonesia. A country with the fourth-largest population in the world has the potential to become a fierce battleground against the COVID-19 pandemic.
