It seems that this Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2024 will be spent by Widi Mulia's family in Jakarta alone. The singer from the trio group B3, who is also now involved in the world of film, said that their family had no plans going home, neither to her husband Dwi Sasono's extended family in Surabaya, East Java, nor to his family. in Sukabumi, West Java.

This was conveyed by Widi when he was met at the launch and press screening of the horror film Siksa Kubur, director Joko Anwar's latest work, which is planned to be screened April 11, 2024. Widi was also present at the event accompanying his second teenage daughter, Widuri Puteri Sasono, who also stars in the film.

"Luckily, our core families are still living in Jakarta. So, we can still gather here without the hassle of preparing for mudik. Moreover, there is a schedule for the promotion of Widuri's first horror film, which has been planned for a long time," said Widi.

Widi hopes that this film will unite many families to watch it together. Not only is it a horror film, it is believed that Siksa Kubur will also be a momentum for spreading religion among families because it also depicts the story of a family drama.

"We haven't been back to my husband's extended family's home in Surabaya for a long time. Maybe the last time we went there was four or five years ago," added Widi.

In this film, Widuri plays the character of young Sita, who along with her older brother Adil (Muzakki Ramdhan), suddenly becomes an orphan. Their parents, played by Happy Salma and Fachri Albar, died due to a suicide bombing.
