JAKARTA, KOMPAS — The majority of children with suspected atypical progressive acute kidney disorders who are referred to the hospital are in poor condition. No wonder medication is difficult to prescribe, and the death rate is higher. Parents and health workers in basic health facilities need to bring the patient immediately or refer to a health facility with sub-specialty services if health symptoms worsen.

President Director of the National Central General Hospital (RSUPN) Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo Lies Dina Liastuti, in Jakarta, on Thursday (20/10/2022), said all pediatric patients who were admitted with suspected acute kidney disorders were in a condition of being unable to urinate or not excreting urine. In this condition, kidney function is impaired so dialysis is necessary.
