The shooting that killed Nofriansyah took place on Friday (8/7), but the National Police only revealed it on Monday (11/7), three days later. The South Jakarta Police have said that Nofriansyah fired seven shots from Fredy's private room, while Second Patrolman E fired five shots. Nofriansyah was killed by five shots from Bharada E. Meanwhile, Bharada E was not shot because he was protected behind a staircase.

From the photo, it can be seen that several parts of Ferdy's house were damaged in what appears to be the result of gunfire. Another hole is visible at the edge of the ceiling of the living room. Right above it there is a large cupboard where the television and displays are placed. On the other hand, the damage to the building does not appear in front of the room door. Right now, there is only a male mannequin holding a gun placed there.
In addition to the hole, there are remnants of bullet fragments marked on the bottom few steps. The shrapnel is also on the front floor of a warehouse room that is right next to the stairs. There are no traces of blood, either on the floor, which is entirely made of light brown wood, or on the walls of the house.
Kompas has contacted a number of members of the National Police's special team to confirm the damage to several parts of Ferdy's official residence. The general supervision inspector of the National Police, Comr. Gen. Agung Budi Maryoto, Bareskrim head Comr. Gen. Agus Andrianto and the director of general crimes for the National Police, Brig. Gen. (Pol) Andi Rian all failed to respond to an inquiry via text message by the time of publication.
Previously, for the purposes of investigating the death of Brigadier J, Comr. Budhi Herdi Susianto was decommissioned from his position as South Jakarta Police Chief.

Guarding the tomb
In Jambi, Nofriansyah's family stood guard around Nofriansyah's grave. The body is being guarded until the request for a repeat autopsy submitted by the family is fulfilled by Bareskrim. Samuel Hutabarat, Nofriansyah's father, said family members were taking turns guarding the tomb so that no one would disturb the body until the autopsy was carried out.
